Akiro is looking for a Barista to join our café floor team.
You will craft consistently excellent coffee, look after our guests, and help keep the
bar running smoothly through busy service.
What you'll do
- Prepare espresso-based drinks, filter coffee and cold beverages to Akiro's recipes and standards
- Dial in grinders and keep extraction consistent throughout the day
- Welcome guests, take orders on the POS and handle payments accurately
- Keep the bar, equipment and seating area clean and service-ready
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Support stock rotation, par levels and daily opening/closing checklists
What we're looking for
- Previous barista or café experience preferred - we will train the right person
- Genuine interest in speciality coffee and a willingness to learn
- Friendly, calm and dependable under pressure
- Good spoken English; Arabic is a plus
- Available for shifts including weekends and public holidays
- Currently in the UAE and able to work full time
